Hello all, using SM 2.32.1 in W 8.1 and find that there is one account
(not the same) on each of several systems which the password for an
email account is not or cannot be saved. As such I must enter it each
time I start SM.

Also, I cannot now find the section in the program where this is to be
checked, e.g. remember password.

What is it I need to do in order to get this function to work? All
accounts are marked to remember passwords or so I thought upon first
re-installing SM after a crash..

TIA - bo1953

Look in Options > Privacy & Security > Passwords.

Hey. EE, Options is a FF setting. ;-) In SM, try Tools->Data Manager, as
suggested by Jonathan.

If you just want to find the setting, then where I suggested is the
proper place.

EE, forget Passwords or even Privacy & Settings, there is *no* "Options" in plain SeaMonkey, at least not the native Beta version I'm using.

If you see "Options" in any of the drop-down menu's of your SeaMonkey, it *must* be because of some Extension you have added.

If you want to see the passwords themselves, that is when
you use the Data Manager, although I find it easier to bookmark the .xul
page and use that to get just passwords without anything else.
