No, I haven't tried a new profile, but I don't want to lose all my
current mail and settings.
Creating a new profile doesn't destroy the old one, it just allows you
to test whether you can install and run without the old one. If you can,
there must be something in the old profile that's causing the problem.
It's an important troubleshooting step.
