having the exact same problems, been crashing all day ( at least 10x)
tried safe mode, same problem
updated several add ons.... no difference
downloaded 2.32 and ran it, it overwrote 2.33 and seems to be OK
anyone else having problems with 2.33
in all the many years of usage.... never had a crash... until 2.33
have also backed up w/mozback

Uninstall 2.33
Install 2.32
Disable automatic upgrades
ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/seamonkey/releases/2.32/
Be aware that updates fix security problems!
