Lord, will you guys PLEASE figure out if you're gonna top-post or
bottom-post?

Ed and Ronnie..... will you guys please clarify what "top-posting" and "bottom-posting"
are? I don't believe i'm exceptionally stupid, but i can't find any instructions how to do it, what i would
like to do is to post as a reply, not as a new topic, without re-re-quoting the original post.........but I'm
putting in this question as a 'new topic' not as a 'reply' because the discussion about top-or-bottom-posting
had been headed "Question about seamonkey's life-plans" so the subject doesn't seem relevant to the
title ...... Jake W

Select the mail or newsgroup account, click "View settings for this account", select "Composition & Addressing", under *Composition* look for "Automatically quote the original message when replying", set "Then" to "start my reply below the quote" for newsgroup posting.

Daniel explained all the options, but you might want to have a look at the Forum rules.
