I realize that SeaMonkey mail is not available on Android, but what
Android mail app is preferred by SeaMonkey mail users?

Thanks,

My wife and I both use the default app that came on my Samsung S5, the one with the "@" symbol in the icon. We use the application extensively for both personal and business. Although I do have a Gmail account, as required apparently for Android, my true Email server is one that is provided by a web hosting company I use. It's generic unix mail: Pop3 and IMAP. It also gives me server-side anti-spam via SpamAssassin. I have both phones set up to manage the email "store" via IMAP Whereas the laptops use SeaMonkey mail via Pop3. We prefer that for more permanent storage reasons.

The first thing we do each morning is use the phones to look at the early emails (Have them configured to just show the subject and a few lines of the body). We can delete some messages from the server before firing up the laptops ('cause it's IMAP and SpamAssasin isn't perfect.

Many of the people in my contacts have email the address in addition to phone numbers.

For us, email on the phone is absolutely necessary, however we don't often compose emails on the phones unless we are traveling and won't be near the laptops soon. It works well for us. The embedded links in the emails take you right into the mobile Firefox browser, too.
