So for fun I tested the 32 and 64-bit builds of the contrib of 2.35
and was very surprised at the performance bump. According to Speed
Battle, it's about a 25% improvement on 64-bit. I did 10 iterations of
the test on both versions.

I've long seen reports of 64-bit yielding only 5-15% improvement but
numbers don't lie. Mind you this is on an old Intel T9800 + 4GB DDR2
setup. I imagine a more modern setup will yield much better scores.
Very impressed and can't wait for mainstream 64-bit releases. Nice job
devs.

What about memory usages?

Seems about the same.
