I used MozBackup to copy "stuff" frm my normal user profile to a new Seamonkey profile. When I copy "general settings", the Picasa images are not shown, I can copy everything else. Problem solved? No, even though I copy the add-ons, they cannot be enabled. The question to use this bypass thus is: what is in "general settings" as seen by MozBackup?
