safe mode operated fine. But when disabling each add on alone or in groups,
nothing seemed to change. Then I discovered that the behavior is erratic, I can
simply restart Seamonkey without changing anything sometimes and it will work,
or not work, again. SO my testing of turning things on or off was meaningless.
One more thing, the "taskbar" menu items across the top of the Local folders
dialog, when not functioning, do work if I double click a message and bring it
up in it's own window, including "get messages". I should add that those same
taskbar items don't work in the main dropdown menus either. I've about had it
with Seamonkey, I may finally transition it all to the Mac mail and Safari.
Anyway, I take it from the lack of responce here that this is not a common
issue with some known fix.
