Thanks for this addon, but I agree with David:
I want my version numbers back in the core :-(

And there is a need to see them, otherwise there would be no plug-in, to
see the version numbers of plug-in(s) (that's quite confusing, didn't
you think ;-)?)

Andreas

Andreas, it strikes me as strange that we used to be able to see the
version number but now, probably because of something that was done in
FF and is then done in SM browser, our friendly (add-on) developers then
have to produce an add-on to undo the change.

Some time ago, the SM devs decided to *not* incorporate the *Australis*
upgrade, so SM browser went off on its own trail. Why couldn't the SM
Devs have not bothered to remove the Version number .... so the Add-On
Devs would not have had to produce the add-on to bring it back??

Seems to me, if you didn't want to know what version you had, you just
need not bother to look at the about:seamonkey data!!

But, apart from this little item, thank you SM Devs ... and to the
Add-On Devs as well!!

Hmm .... I wasn't sure about the about:seamonkey link above, and when I clicked on it, I got a "Invalid Address" screen, so I then went to Help->About:Seamonkey and got the correct screen except the address bar just read "about:"!

That's a change, isn't it??
