SeaMonkey 2.33.1 on Ubuntu 14.04 is ok
SeaMonkey 2.35 and 2.38 : I can't write in adress window because it is very
narrow. On clic mouse, the window does not take the focus of the mouse. It is
impossible to write anything.
(In other seamonkey windows, for example to add the name of a new toolbar, I
can not write anything because it is also very narrow, 1mm or less)
what can I do?

Do you had tested with safe mode? or, may be the theme you are using?
I have not problems with SM 2,35, 2.38 nor now 2.39beta (unofficial)
using Xubuntu 14.04 LTS with "GNOMErunner GTK Revived 0.3.6" theme
