Have you tried Edit -> Preferences ->Browser -> Internet Search and then
select "Manage Search Engines" and then, near the bottom of the new
screen, "Get more search engines"?
That takes you to addons.mozilla.org, showing over 3,500 web search
engines, some in Russian, although looking at the first five pages, I
did not see Yandex listed.
