It looks like you've got your email folders sorted anyway, but for
future reference I don't think you want the "./" there - that's to run
an executable located in the current directory. You probably just need
"seamonkey -safe-mode".
Exactly, SeaMonkey's default install location is /usr/bin/seamonkey
which is on the user's default path so you want
seamonkey --safe-mode
^^
note the double-dash
FYI try seamonkey --help for command-line options.
