For your master password, install the Show Password On Input extension from <https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/seamonkey/addon/show-password-on-input/>. The Web page for the extension indicates "Not available for SeaMonkey 2.38". Use the converter at <http://addonconverter.fotokraina.com/> to update the range of SeaMonkey versions. Under "Advanced Options", you only need to allow "Add SeaMonkey to install.rdf and set maxVersion to" for "2.*"; you can clear all the checkboxes. This extension puts a checkbox on the popup dialogue for entering your master password. If the checkbox is checked, the master password is displayed as plain-text. For safety, the checkbox always defaults to unchecked every time the dialogue is launched. In this case, you might need to have all checkboxes checked. After the Web site password is entered, you must click on the ●●●●●●●●●● to select it, click on it again to deselect it, and click even again to select it. Right-click to get a pull-down context menu and select "Show password". The display is not persistent; almost anything you do will cause it to revert back to ●●●●●●●●●●.
