Real simple on XP:

In run box enter line below:

%APPDATA%\Mozilla

Copy the SeaMonkey folder to some media like a thumbdrive

Microsoft reworked the layout of user profiles in Vista (and Win 7 and
later use the Vista layout).

However, if you use the %APPDATA% variable, then you'll find the right
location, regardless of which Windows release you're running.

That is why I used %APPDATA% variable for both the source & destination!

For Seamonkey, that's going to be %APPDATA%\Mozilla\Seamonkey.

Yes so in XP that will be:

C:\Documents and Settings\USER\Application Data\Mozilla\Seamonkey

And in Vista+

C:\Users\USER\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\SeaMonkey

That said, if you don't want to take the effort of poking at folder
level in the user profile, MozBackup handles everything nicely
(including locating things correctly with the %APPDATA% variable).

The one catch on MozBackup is that before you restore, you need to start
the setup wizard, so that a default profile location is created. Once
you get to the first dialog box, you can abort, and then go on and let
MozBackup take care of the work of restoring your profile.

With the above method there is no catch. Done it several times. In fact works moving it to Linux, just watch your case.
