I just discovered that I could edit my "From:" form in SeaMonkey's
Compose(r) as shown in this post. Am I the only one/1 who never noticed
this since I have been using Mozilla and Netscape suites for a couple
decades or so?

When did that happen?  It used to be that you could pick any address
from any account you have, but you could not edit those entries from the
From: line.

I think it started recently or maybe I never noticed it?
