Maybe downloads.sqlite is corrupted? Try removing that file from the
profile (shut down SeaMonkey first). It will be re-created when you
start up SM again.
Thanks for taking the time to try to help me. I cannot find that file
in the SeaMonkey folder. There are a number of downloads. files but not
with the sqlite extension.
Did you look in your profile? Several replies suggest that you will find
it there.
Probably looking in the wrong place. From his UA looks like he is
running Windows 7 so he should:
WinKey + R
Open box: %APPDATA%\Mozilla\SeaMonkey\Profiles
Explorer will open in the hidden folder and there will be his profile
folder [RANDOM-SALT].default, enter it and the downloads.sqlite will be
there.
You should be able to find the profile by getting the menu to appear
(press Alt), then clicking on Help > Troubleshooting Information and
choosing the button next to "Profile Folder".
