I do not think that is possible. However, be thankful that SeaMonkey
has a status bar. I understand that it was eliminated entirely in
Firefox.
Maybe Stan should switch to Firefox. That would solve his problem and he
would have more viewing space.
Or perhaps turn the status bar off in SeaMonkey
View : Show/Hide : Status Bar (uncheck it)
