For me, the easiest way to spoof other browsers is via the PrefBar extension from <https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/seamonkey/addon/prefbar/>. It has a User Agent menulist for selecting the user agent (UA) string for what other browser you want to spoof. If you forget to restore the SeaMonkey UA string, this is done automatically when you terminate and then relaunch SeaMonkey. The only problem is that the UA strings do not update automatically. About once a month or two, I check the UA strings seen in visits to my own Web site via a tool provided by my Web host. From that, I manually update the UA strings in PrefBar's User Agent menulist. -- David E.
