At [Edit > Preferences > Advanced > Cache], I set my cache location for all four of my profiles to a common location. That applies, however, only to the folder named Cache. It does not apply to jumpListCache, OfflineCache, shortcutCache, or startupCache, each of which exists as profile-specific folders in each profile. There is no confusion caused by four profiles all using the same Cache folder. This because I have checked the checkboxes for "Always clear by private data when I close SeaMonkey" and "Cache" at [Edit > Preferences > Privacy & Security > Private Data]. Thus, the "primary" cache always exists only for the current profile. -- David E.
