At times, I really want to mark a thread as "Ignore Thread", but that
function isn't listed on the Right Click menu, so I normally just "Mark
Thread as Read" .... and then the next day do it again!!

Yes, I know "Ignore Thread" is listed on the "Message" drop down, but
who ever uses that??

So what I'd like to know is is it possible to add "Ignore Thread" to the
Right Click menu?? If so, how??

TIA

Maybe you should file a bug to port bug 179033 to SeaMonkey.
Those menuitems were added to TB24…

Onno

https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=179033
enable ignore/kill / watch for mail (and mail filters)

Thanks for your response, Onno, but after a bit of a read of that bug,
that thread seems to have been about getting the ignore/kill working in
both Mail and News from the dropdown list. I want it on the "Right
Click" list.

If you scroll down to comment 37 and maybe check the patch, you can see
that the right-click context menuitems for Ignore Thread, Ignore
Subthread and Watch Thread were also added to TB in this bug.

The bug also covers some other thing, like adding the menuitems also to
the Message menu for Mail, which is also only implemented for TB.

Onno

Sorry, Onno, but I still cannot see any mention of menuitems being added to SM's Mail/News Right Click menu ... even as far as Comment 55.

Maybe I need new glasses!!
