It's been incompatible with SeaMonkey since about 2.35. The reason is that the programmer for Ghostery who did it for SeaMonkey left and Ghostery chose not to replace him. Ghostery posted about this some time ago. I can't recall if it was in their blog or at their now defunct support forum at GetSatisfaction.

You do not want Ghostery 6x anyway. It is HORRIBLE. You want version 5.10 or any 5x version but it simply will not work on SeaMonkey. The lack of good tracking protection for SeaMonkey is a main reason I don't use it a lot. Disconnect works on SeaMonkey. There is a free version. Fx Tracking Protection uses Disconnect's definitions. Don't get it from AMO. Go here: https://disconnect.me/ Since SeaMonkey has so much Fx code, I don't see why Tracking Protection is not offered for SeaMonkey. It is great especially the strongest definitions list from Disconnect.
