Seanobkey still does have infrastructure problems. The next planned version is 
2.44 but no ETA yet. In the meantime you can try Adrian 
Kallas unofficial 2.44:

It's built from the original sources and is recommended if you have problems 
you can't solve with 2.40. Adrian is also now a member of 
the Seamonkey release engineering team. We do accept bug reports against it in 
case something doesn't work right. When the official 2.44 
arrives you should download the full installer and run it because Adrians 
version does set a different update url.
