Just went to SM .40 from SM 2.39 on a Win 7 machine. Viewed history once
and went back to view it and the history is empty. Is there a bug on
this? Using the same profile as 2.39.
Wasn't my experience when I did the same upgrade.
Is Browsing History marked for deletion here?
Edit | Preferences | Privacy & Security | Private Data
In that case, could you have inadvertently cleared private data
(CTRL-SHIFT-DEL)?
Also, if you've also checked "Always clear my private data when I close
SeaMonkey," SM will clear your history automatically on shutdown.
But those settings shouldn't have changed purely due to the upgrade, the
user would have to change them manually.
Paul,
The setting were all OK and this morning when she went to the
history ( Ctrl + H ) all the history was there. Yesteryday evening it
was blank???
Good to hear.
My only other theory: could she have inadvertently entered a character
or two in the search window that returned no hits? E.g., "zx"?
