There is no way I would ever upgrade from 7 to 10.
Considering that as well (I love W7). What would be a good plan to continue
using W7 after
the support runs out and there are no more security updates?
As others have said, you could clone 7 then upgrade to 10 on a separate hdd.
With enough work you can get it to be almost like 7. I had the test 7 for a
while,
did not like it, and deleted it.
3.5 years to go. I'm not concerned with updates and security.
Don't have a virus shield. On the web since 1991 and have never gotten
anything.
Practice safe computing and know your machines.
When w7 no longer runs my fav programs then I will go to Linux full time.
