It will be a separate install using the same profile. Best is to deinstall the 32 bit version first and then install 64 bit. Your data will be preserved. Lighting is a binary extension and if it doesn't auto update itself during the install you might need some minor fiddeling to get it back but you data won't be deleted.

But as always there is unimportant data and backed up data so if you are unsure just backup you profile before trying it.
