I have Seamonkey of a Win XP, Win 7 and Win 10 PCs.
Only Win 10 has big problems.
I ran compatibility manager and tried different setting but none helped any.
All I ever use Seamonkey is for nesgroups only.
On Win 10
Starting takes forever, over a minute,
I see a green progress bar get half way then the whole app freezes.
I cannot even move the form.
After a minute or so...
Then I go to mail.
In mail then Seamonkey alternates between freezing (cannot even move
the form) and giving me a message that the newsgroup provide has no
updates. I have four newsgroup providers. Each one in turn freezes
then releases.
Then when all that is over, I click on a post and have to wait 10 to 20
seconds for it to show in the text pane.
What a pain !
This is the same before and after Win 10 major updates just recently
installed. o Win 10 is up to date. DAMN it just now froze for 45
seconds while I was typing this post.
What is going on?
I think my internet / LAN access is OK as I am watching my LAN security
cam and it is running fine.
The seamonkey thing seems to be totally related to accessing the internet.
Other PCs on my LAN and WiFi have no problems getting to the internet.
I am on a Toshiba Satellite where the problems are.
