So, I can DELete (REmove) this directory without affecting my SM ?
It remains valid, but is not required. My primary profile has 203,781 bytes in 71 files in it, none of which are named user*example.css. Those two example files were never used by SM. They exist purely to provide examples of how to use CSS to modify web page and UI appearance.
