It should crash quite often and autocomplete doesn't work. If you run into trouble check if its a known problem.
The known problems for 2.49 are tracked in: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1313304 As of now 2.50a1 still suffers from the same problems.
