Because file protocol does not launch OS's file manager but opens file|directory within the browser, read-only. The profile button is supposed to open you profile in your registered file manager. For me with Ubuntu 16.04 using the PPA ubuntuzilla the button works as expected, Nautilus launches with PWD at my profile DIR. -- Take care, Jonathan ------------------- LITTLE WORKS STUDIO http://www.LittleWorksStudio.com _______________________________________________ support-seamonkey mailing list [email protected] https://lists.mozilla.org/listinfo/support-seamonkey
