I've just upgraded to 2.46 (64-bit, Arch Linux build). Generally working well, but one thing that I've found no way of changing is that it seams to be overriding the interface settings I have.

On my laptop, I've selected window controls that include conventional scroll bars - arrow click at top and bottom. I do this because I find scrolling with the touchpad inconsistent. However, the new version of SM has replaced my standard scroll bars with sliders, even though nothing else on the desktop uses these.

I much prefer software to behave the way *I* select, but so far, I've found nothing that allows me to revert to the behaviour I want.

Am I missing something, or is this something I have to learn to live with?

Paul.
