Thank you in advance. :)
It's already there.
Go to File-->New-->Private_Window.
To open a bookmark or link in a private window,
right-click-->Open_in_a_Private_Window.
Just a problem.
We can right-click -> open in a private window on a link present in
a web page opened by the browser.
BUT we cannot right-click -> open in a private window on a link
present in a mail nor in a post of a newsgroup.
Can't have a link in Thunderbird open in a private window with
Firefox either.
But we have "Open in a New Window" so... why not the "Open in a
Private window" option ?
What if you are currently using a private window?
Answering my own question here:
Clicking a link in email or a newsgroup will open a normal window from
Thunderbird. The context menu items in Thunderbird are "Open Link in
Browser", "Copy Link Location" and "Save Link As...".
If I used a private window, I could use "Copy Link Location" and paste
it into the address bar of the private window.
I suspect SeaMonkey is similar.
YES BUT SeaMonkey is a mail/newsgroup reader AND a browser, so I don't
understand why right-clicking will not give me the "Open in a private
window" option.
I say that because right-clicking on a link in a mail give me the "Open
in a new window" option.
It's not there because SeaMonkey Mail uses shared MailNews Core code
with Thunderbird and that code doesn't have it, is my best guess.

Then again maybe it's shared Core code.

Or one of the other components.
