I don't frequently use mail from my Linux box, but I just checked there, and finding strange handling. What's happening is that when I view messages in the preview pane, header information isn't being shown, although body content is visible. In the header, the control for display options is not responsive. If the message has attachments, the header for the attachments sub-pane is visible, but not the attachments. My normal display setting is for showing Normal headers.

When I open a message in a separate window, the display is entirely blank, except for the Mail toolbar, but no other information (headers, body or attachments).

If I'm composing a message, all the content shows up correctly.

Any idea of what's happening?

I'm running Seamonkey 2.46 on Ubuntu 12.04, with a build that came from Ubuntuzilla.
