Okay, I am now using 2.48 after using 2.47 (Adrian builds). I have had no problems with either and hesitate to go back to 2.46 if not needed. If you think I should go back to the new 2.46 that now covers the security breeches, please tell me why.

agree with Mason, best not to revert to previous release numbers, "official release" or not

I installed a few 2.50 version in alternate/separated installs... those remain a mess sticking inside 2.49xx for now...
