OK, I narrowed it down in my prefs.js file but it makes no sense! Why
does deleting user_pref("gfx.crash-guard.d3d11layers.appVersion",
"2.46"); line fix the problem? I am using an old 64-bit W7 HPE SP1 OS
with all updates and ATI Radeon 4870 video card (newest drivers from AMD).

And the embedded map still works. It makes no sense to me. :/
