Yes I tried 2.40 on linux. I am not sure this is a bug. It maybe an
improvement that was made to the TB user interface but never applied to
SM. I should think it would be more complicated for the code to go
through a list of folders and then for each folder through a list of
articles than just to go through a list of articles.
The saved search that I have created though is dynamically updated so it
is now easy to repeat the mark-all-read on it.
Is a 6 year old bug.
