You could also experiment with setting a minimum font size, but that can
mess up some sites.

I used to use Theme & Font Size changer until they somehow managed to override my upgrade setting, which was set to manual. They stonewalled me when I asked them about it, and this led me to consider what else they might do without my permission. Before their heads could swell up any further, I decided to uninstall the extension and live with the results. This turned out to be a good decision because after uninstalling it all the settings were retained.
