If you are getting the message for SeaMonkey/2.46:> Your copy of SeaMonkey is old and probably has known security flaws, > but you have disabled automated update checks. Please update to a > newer version. that is bug #1074660. See <https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1074660>. Those who replied that SeaMonkey/2.46 is indeed out of date are very, very wrong. SeaMonkey/2.46 is the latest official, end-user release. Any later versions are either development versions (aurora, beta) or else someone's non-official, personall creation, all of which carry some end-user risk. Until there is an OFFICIAL release beyond SeaMonkey/2.46, this version is absolutely NOT out of date. -- David E. Ross <http://www.rossde.com/> Paraphrasing Mark Twain, who was quoting someone else: There are three kinds of lies: lies, damned lies, and alternative truths. _______________________________________________ support-seamonkey mailing list [email protected] https://lists.mozilla.org/listinfo/support-seamonkey
