I am using SeaMonkey and Windows 10 on my desktop computer. I received a message from Verizon telling me that they will no longer provide verizon.net email service after April 14, 2017. I was then given two options to choose from as follows:

1. Click here (in blue letters) to sign into your verizon.net email account. 2. Simply select Keep verizon.net email address or Try any other email provider to complete setup.

By choosing option 1 you will:
Keep your verizon.net email address
Migrate to AOL Mail
Retain email, contacts and calendar(s) automatically.

By choosing option 2 you will:
No longer be able to use your current verizon.net email address
Establish an account with a mail provider of your choosing like Outlook.com or Gmail
Manually move your email, contacts and calendar(s)

Question - What if you click here in option 1 and find that there is no place to select ""Keep verizon.net email account". I hope somebody else has made this change and can help me make this transition. Help!

I made the migration and it was painless. Just login to your My Verizon web mail follow the instructions.

I even read a post in the alt.online-service.verizon newsgroup on Usenet where one user kept his Verizon password when they got to the Enter New Password field and therefore didn't need to change the password in his email client.

I did use a new password. When I opened my SeaMonkey (also my Thunderbird's) I was prompted for the new one when checking for mail and when sending mail.

No other settings change.

Here are a couple links that may be of help.
