Open Seamonkey to send a newsgroup post and there was no From: etc top

I had to piss around to find the little tiny minuscule button to open
that area up.

What the heck is that all about ?

I just sent posts without this problem then booted because TBird crapped
out and then I got this no From: area missing crap.

MozUser, when I opened this screen to reply to you, in the top bit of the screen there are three sections ...
1. The "File", "Edit", "View", etc., row of buttons,
2. The "Send", "Add Recipient", "Attachment", "Spell", etc., row of buttons, and,
3. The "From" and "Recipients" ans "Subject" section.

On the extreme left of each of those three rows there is a section which has a Downward Arrowhead and some dots. If you click on that area, that arrowhead turns side-wards and the Menu area disappears.

Clicking the sideways arrowhead, re-opens the menu bar.
