account, and press "remove account".

Well, Richmond, maybe you could have emphasised that it was at Edit ->
mail and newsgroup account settings and *NOT* at Edit -> *Preferences*
-> mail and newsgroups.
Or is it just me that's likely to make that mistake?? ;-P
