You know how you get the "Activate Flash" box where a video should be
in a web page? Well, when you activate Flash to view the video and
Flash crashes, you see that a message in that space.

browser continues to work.
Yep, that's the whole point of the plugin container -- to isolate
plugin crashes and allow the browser to survive them.
So the solution is to upgrade the offending plugin instead of saying
that SM is bad.
