It seems this bug is going to be resolved by getting the regional
settings that are actually in use by the OS.
What if you want a different form of the language? That does not
sound like a solution at all.
Can you explain what you mean please, it's not clear to me.
If I want to use en-GB rather than en-US, for instance, I might want to
use their format. Actually, I like the international standard for date
and time, using 24-hour time. My operating system is set up to use that
with files. I would rather that that form be used.
