I have attempted to connect a Sony laptop computer to the internet with no success. I can, however, connect with my printer with no problems occuring. I have gone to Wireless Network Connections as clicked "Refresh network list" and I receive as message as follows "No wireless networks were found in range". This seems very odd since I have another XP computer just three feet from this laptop and it connects without any difficulty. I have conducted this search with and without the direct cable connection between the laptop and the router...with the same results. I can connect to the internet via the cable connection between the computer and the router. I created a new connection via of the Wireless Network Setup Wizard and the new connection and it did not work without the cable being connected to the computer and the router. I will be very grateful for any help or suggestions sent my way for solving this problem.
