I'm pretty sure your 2.8.x will auto update to 2.9.1. if you turn auto
updates on in the extension manager. I think auto update is the default.
I installed ABP eons ago and never physically updated it, yet my
extension manger says I have 2.9.1 in it.

How can I install the most recent version of AdBlockPluss compatible
with SM ?
