The ad plays but not the video works with IE
It appears to be a flash video. The page checks for IE, Firefox, Chrome, and
Safari.
From your headers (advertising both Firefox and SeaMonkey) it probably
should
work if you have flash installed.
and I've seen some sites that will ignore that User Agent string if it
mentions anything other than Firefox, i.e. having ....
Hmm! The Original Poster's post does not actually have a User Agent string!!
Just an X-Mailer string!! Are they the same thing??
From Ron's e-mail:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:51.0) Gecko/20100101
Firefox/51.0 SeaMonkey/2.48
You're right, Mr Ed. When I Forward Ron's post (with full headers), I see a
User-Agent line, but, when I look through the full headers, directly, I see no
mention of User Agent.
Do I need to set some Pref to display it?? I've just set
mailnews.headers.showUserAgent to true in about:config, so I'll see if it
shows up tomorrow!
Use the "Display User Agent" add-on or click on View/Message Source
No need!! By making the change to the mentioned pref in "about:config",
I now see the User Agent line listed in the message header.
