Hi Bill, I suppose you've been using the Sync 1.1 server hosted by Mozilla Foundation.
You can, however, build and run your own one, provided you can guarantee 24x7 availability. This is what PaleMoon devs do (you can actually switch to using their Sync 1.1 server). Regards, Andrey.
