Strangely enough, HBO GO plays fine with the same user agent. I did have
to set up an account and login, but I never got nagged about my browser.
Since I don't have Showtime, I can't test that, but I did get the
instantaneous nag you cite. It didn't even ask me to log in. Looks like
a bad sniffer.
