Using Thunderbird, I can drag and drop tabs to rearrange them. However, that does not apply to the left-most tab. It cannot be moved, and no tab can be moved to its left. Since SeaMonkey's Mail-News and Thunderbird share a common core, I strongly suspect that you cannot move the Lightning tab to the far left position in SeaMonkey. -- David E.
