I just read an article on ZDNet

(https://www.zdnet.com/article/mozilla-open-source-thunderbird-getting-new-look-better-gmail-support-encryption/?ftag=TRE-03-10aaa6b&bhid=19709119134809512170913331413282)

It seems Mozilla has renewed interest in the Thunderbird email client. Mozilla has even hired six new programmers to work on Mozilla.

Does anyone have any ideas how this move might effect SeaMonkey? Will SeaMonkey be able to benefit from improvements/modernizations to Thunderbird's code?

Do you think this move might effect SeaMonkey in any way?
