It has been that way for a couple of years now.
Switch to <HTML> Source mode, make an edit (any edit, adding and
removing a space is more than sufficient) and then you'll see that Find
(with or without Replace) works as it should.
You need to do this every time you switch to HTML Source mode.
Use Ctrl-H (Find & replace) and don't do the replace. Works in any mode
in Composer.
